If someone is going to treat your products like their own, that’s the most you can hope for in a fulfillment partner. ShipBob does exactly that. The customer experience and brand consistency is really important to us, so to receive that level of support from ShipBob means so much to us. Because we don’t operate our own warehouse, we need to trust a 3PL team that is going to be invested in delivering our products to the best of their ability.

ShipBob is a drastic difference from our last 3PL. They listen and quickly get their customers’ needs live in their software. It feels like a really honest and fruitful relationship. I log on to our ShipBob account and see everything in one place, no matter if I’m looking at our facility in Kankakee, IL, or the ShipBob fulfillment centers in Canada or Europe. I didn’t have to learn different platforms or deal with support representatives at different companies.

Not all fulfillment companies are created equal. Before we partnered with ShipBob, we worked with a 3PL. When we went viral in 2016 and suddenly had thousands of additional orders to fill, we knew we had to outsource to a different 3PL that could give us the attention we needed, regardless of our size. We moved to ShipBob, and have received dedicated support ever since! We know that the next time we go viral, we will always be ready.

In my experience, ShipBob is a lot more clear and transparent about what customers can expect compared to the other 3PL we used. ShipBob’s analytics dashboard is quite helpful and straightforward. It’s really helpful to have that level of visibility so we don’t have to constantly email back and forth, asking when things will be completed. It saves a lot of time and helps set expectations appropriately.

The deciding factor that sold us on ShipBob was price. International fulfillment can be incredibly expensive, but ShipBob was cheaper than our old provider. ShipBob’s software was also much easier to use than our previous provider’s, and gave us a better picture of what was going on with our orders. Even from overseas, it gave us the visibility and control we would expect from a provider in our backyard.

We’re partnering with ShipBob for every aspect of our shipping, fulfillment, and storage, and we’re relying on them to continue to come up with better technology and solutions, figuring out ways to improve not only the service levels for us, but also cut down on costs. That way, we can leave logistics to ShipBob and keep focusing on what’s most important to use: serving our customers.

Does ShipBob have a fulfillment center in Colorado?

While we don’t have a fulfillment center in Colorado at this time, ShipBob has dozens of fulfillment centers across the US, including the West Coast and Southwest. For a full list of ShipBob’s US and international fulfillment center locations, click here.

Can ShipBob ship to Colorado?

Yes! ShipBob can ship to Colorado from any of its fulfillment centers.

How do shipping zones affect me in Colorado?

Shipping zones are calculated based on an order’s origin point. The closer a package’s destination is to its origin point, the lower the shipping zone for that order will be; conversely, the farther away an order’s destination is from its origin point, the higher the shipping zone will be.

For brands shipping from Colorado, this means that orders shipped within the state or to nearby destinations such as Utah or Wyoming will have lower shipping zones, such as Zones 1, 2, or 3. Orders bound for locations in more distant states like Florida or Maine will have higher shipping zone (Zone 8).

ShipBob can help brands lower their average shipping zone by distributing their inventory across our network of US fulfillment centers. That way, you can fulfill orders closer to end customers, and provide customers the fast and affordable shipping they want without breaking the bank.

Do I need a fulfillment center located in Colorado?

While many brands think they need a fulfillment center in their backyard, the truth is they should follow the data and pick a location based on where their customers are located to keep shipping costs and transit times as low as possible. For example, if your customers are distributed across several regions of the country, using fulfillment centers that are more centrally located or near highly populous areas can help you deliver to more customers more efficiently.

Once your order volume justifies it, you can split your inventory across multiple locations and have orders shipped from the closest location each time. ShipBob helps brands understand their data when getting started and provides analytics to customers on how their customer geographic locations change over time to show average savings, shipping zones, and transit time reductions if you change your fulfillment center locations.

Does ShipBob have plans to open a Colorado fulfillment center?

We are continuously evolving our warehouse locations, using data and feedback from our customers to decide where to add fulfillment centers.

Where are ShipBob’s fulfillment centers located?

ShipBob has dozens of fulfillment centers across different regions of the US, including the Southwest, West Coast, East Coast, West Coast, and Midwest. We also have several fulfillment centers in the UK, Europe, Canada, and Australia, and we are constantly expanding our geographic footprint. Leveraging this ever-growing network, ecommerce brands can handle US and international fulfillment through a single partner and platform.
