Does ShipBob have a fulfillment center in Finland?

ShipBob doesn’t have a fulfillment center in Finland at this time, but we do have fulfillment centers in the EU. 

By using ShipBob, brands can offer fast fulfillment to Finnish customers by utilizing our fulfillment center in the European Union. ShipBob also has fulfillment centers in the UK, USA, Canada, and Australia, so brands can achieve global fulfillment and international shipping. See a full list of fulfillment centers here

How does the EU impact shipping to/from Finland?

Finland is a member of the European Union. Therefore, any shipments to Finland from another EU member country (and vice versa) will not be subject to duties or tariffs. 

However, shipping from Finland to a country that is not part of the EU is more complicated. Brands should be prepared to pay duties and taxes (which can differ depending on the end customer’s location), and to include additional customs documentation. 

Whether you’re shipping to or from Finland (or any other location), brands can leverage ShipBob as a fulfillment partner to offer fast, cost-effective shipping to customers around the globe. 

Can ShipBob ship to Finland?

Do I need a fulfillment center located in Finland?

While many brands think they need a fulfillment center in their home country, the truth is they should follow the data and pick a location based on where their customers are located to keep shipping costs and transit times as low as possible. For example, if your customers are distributed across the EU, being more centrally located within the EU can help you deliver to more customers more efficiently. 

Once your order volume justifies it, you can split your inventory across multiple locations and have orders shipped from the closest location each time. ShipBob helps brands understand their data when getting started and provides analytics to customers on how their customer geographic locations change over time to show average savings, shipping zones, and transit time reductions if you change your fulfillment center locations.
