DPD UK delivery services

DPD offers a wide range of shipping services and delivery services within the UK, including:
- DPD Next Day
- DPD 10:30 (shipped parcels arrive before 10:30 AM the next working day)
- DPD 12:00 (shipped parcels arrive before noon the next working day)
- 2-Day
- Saturday 10:30 (shipped parcels arrive before 10:30 AM on Saturdays)
- Saturday 12:00 (shipped parcels arrive before noon on Saturdays)
- Sunday delivery
ShipBob partners with DPD to ship UK orders through 2-Day and DPD Next Day services, so that customers receive their parcels within 24 to 48 hours. These services are particularly helpful during peak season, when shipping delays, mistakes, and other unpredictable disruptions may impact OTIF rates for ecommerce businesses.
International shipping with DPD UK
DPD offers shipping from the UK to 230 countries, as well as shipping options for UK-bound orders shipped from other locations.
With extensive geographical coverage and 70,000 pickup points and drop off parcelshops across Europe alone, DPD achieves fast international shipping, with orders reaching:
- Germany, France, Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg in 3-4 days
- Scandinavia in 4-6 days
- Spain and Italy in 4-5 days
- Ireland and Portugal in 2-3 days

DPD can also provide international delivery through their Air Classic and Air Express services. Using these courier services, international orders bound for most major destinations arrive within 5-8 days (via Air Classic) or 3-5 days (via Air Express).
DPD pickup shops
DPD parcel pickup shops allow ecommerce businesses to drop off parcels for delivery, and have them delivered directly to the end recipient’s home or a nearby pickup shop. You can also pick up your orders from one of these locations (which is often a more cost-effective option than home delivery).
With over 6,000 locations across the UK, 90% of the UK population is just a 10-minute drive away from at least one of these pickup shops.
DPD will also collect individual parcels from home addresses through DPD Local. DPD Local users can arrange for pickups next-day, before 10:30 AM or 12:00 noon the next working day, in 2 days, and on Saturday or Sunday, and receive free tracking on every shipment.
DPD app & track and trace
The DPD app offers users a parcel tracking number as well as real-time visibility into their shipment’s ship date and progress, so that you can see exactly when delivery is expected and manage delivery accordingly. Customers can opt to receive SMS and email notifications confirming a likely delivery window, allowing customers to change delivery slots to more convenient delivery times and avoid delivery exceptions.
DPD tracking service via the app includes a visual map, clear progress bar, and driver profiles, so users have more information than ever about their parcel’s delivery. DPD even offers users the option to change a shipment’s delivery address or delivery date in-transit, so your shipments arrive when and where you intend them to. Ecommerce brands can use this feature to provide a better shipping experience for their customers.
