Shipping Rules

The following are not automatically included in ShipBob’s fulfillment services and require set-up to execute properly. Please reach out to your Merchant Care Manager or our Merchant Care team to facilitate this setup:

  • Custom packaging and labels
  • Handwritten notes: Notes that are prepared in advance and SKU’d are fine
  • Non-SKU’d packaging material: SKU’d packaging material is fine
  • Gift wrapping or ribbons: Custom boxes that are SKU’d are fine
  • Custom pack instructions: SKU everything in advance or kit them
  • Kitting and bundles (e.g. variety packs or a special arrangement of products)
  • B2B ordersCustom packing slips or notes
  • Other custom work (e.g. serial scans, non-standard box sizes, applying stickers to products, or assembly)
  • Heavy products (e.g. items over 50 pounds or total shipments over 99 pounds)
  • Large products (Items greater than 48 inches in any dimension; this requires additional storage; at least 2 pallets)
  • Hazardous materials (e.g. laptop batteries, certain aerosol sprays)
  • Fragile products
