TrackBob Branded Tracking Page ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

Image Media

Weโ€™ve expanded access to TrackBob, our branded tracking page, via controlled release through the rest of the year. Merchants can now customize the carrier tracking page their customers see with their brandโ€™s logo, URL, and other branded elements directly from the merchant dashboard, giving them more control over the post-purchase experience.

By default, TrackBob is automatically enabled for zone-skipped orders and features ShipBob branding. When merchants add their own branding, it applies across all eligible shipments, including zone-skipped orders and U.S. domestic orders placed through Shopify and ShipStation. TrackBob is available in the Customization Suite section of the merchant dashboard. Access and more details on qualifications can be found here.

De Minimis Defense via Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) Warehouses ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

With two solutions โ€“ FTZ Ecommerce and FTZ Reserve โ€“ ShipBob Plus brands that are part of our De Minimis Defense Program can protect their margins and gain the operational flexibility they need to scale confidently. FTZ warehouses offer a powerful cashflow advantage because duties aren’t paid until products leave the warehouse, which is often after the sale has been made and top-line revenue has been collected.

Fast-Track Receiving ๐ŸŒŽ

Qualifying ShipBob Plus merchants now have access to our fast-track receiving controlled release, offering a 1-day SLA to get inventory dock-to-stock and shipping faster. By meeting a few key requirements (like sending one SKU or lot per pallet and having inventory previously vetted by First Article Inspection), fast-growing brands with recurring, high-volume shipments can avoid manual exceptions and be ready to ship in a fraction of the time. Stay tuned โ€“ we’re expanding capacity in early 2026 so more ShipBob Plus merchants can take advantage of faster receiving and speed up fulfillment.

New Order Details Report ๐ŸŒŽ

Image Media

ShipBob is introducing two new reports to give merchants greater visibility into fulfillment operations:

  • Order Details Report: Access 50+ data points at the outbound order level, including shipment status, total units, and fulfillment cost to better analyze performance and spend. Coming early-October.

Updated Inventory Velocity & Undelivered Shipments Reports ๐ŸŒŽ

We’ve also updated two of our frequently used reports based on merchant feedback:

  • Inventory Velocity Report: We switched the SKU Performance by FC chart to a dynamic pivot view, making it easier to analyze more data in greater detail. Learn more.
  • Undelivered Shipments Report: We’ve added a new ‘Carrier’ column to show when a package has reached carrier possession. This will also keep the ‘Tracking Number’ and ‘Last Status Message’ columns updated. Learn more.

HAZMAT Product Catalog Enhancements & New Carriers ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

We’re rolling out several updates to improve compliance and provide added flexibility for U.S. domestic HAZMAT orders:

Smarter Product Catalog AI Classification

Weโ€™ve enhanced our SDS sheet parser AI to more accurately extract key hazardous product attributes. This ensures shipments align more closely with regulatory and carrier requirements, reducing compliance risks without adding extra work for merchants.

More Flexible Carrier Options

Starting November, merchants will be able to ship US domestic HAZMAT orders via several new carriers: OnTrac Ground DG, Amazon Ground DG, UPS Ground, and FedEx Ground (including Home Delivery). These carriers have fewer restrictions than other postal options and our system will automatically select the carrier that will minimize splits and cost for the shipment.

New Split Rules for Shipping Customization ๐ŸŒŽ

Merchants can now customize shipping with new product-based split rules, which gives them more flexibility and control over how multi-shipment orders are prepared. With options like name matching, add-on items, and keep-together rules, merchants can define exactly how orders should be split or grouped, ensuring shipments align with business needs. These rules make it easier to manage complex catalogs, simplify shipping logic, and deliver a more consistent customer experience without adding extra manual steps.

Single Picking and Packing Flow for WMS Merchants ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

Boost warehouse efficiency for single-unit orders with the new single picking and packing flow. This new process groups orders with single-item barcoded SKUs into one picking trip and streamlines packing steps, allowing pickers to handle more units in fewer trips and for packers to reduce scans and movements. This results in higher productivity, and more orders processed each day. WMS merchants interested in learning more or participating in beta program for this release should reach out to their ShipBob contact to learn more.

Billing Page Updates ๐ŸŒŽ

We’re making it easier for merchants to navigate our Billing page with less friction and find the information they’re looking for quickly. Starting mid-October, merchants will be able to:

  • Search, filter, and sort to find invoices, including new filters for ‘Invoice Type’ and ‘Payment Mode’
  • Select multiple invoices to download
  • Easily view and navigate the page with a new and improved user interface

New Returns Page & API Filter ๐ŸŒŽ

Merchants can now filter by ‘Completed Date’ on the Returns page in the merchant dashboard and when accessing returns data through our open developer API to keep things consistent no matter how they’re accessing their ShipBob data.

Automatic Email Delivery for Weekly & Monthly Invoices ๐ŸŒŽ

Merchants on weekly or monthly invoicing will soon be able to receive their invoices directly via email. This ensures they never miss an invoice and eliminates the need to log into the merchant dashboard to download copies.

Instant Inventory Sync for Shopify, Amazon, and BigCommerce ๐ŸŒŽ

ShipBob will be moving from scheduled inventory updates to a real-time, event-driven sync in Q1 2026. This upgrade ensures instant inventory visibility across channels, helping merchants avoid overselling, minimize support issues, and keep stock levels accurate at all times.

Manual FBA Order Enhancements ๐ŸŒŽ

This October, ShipBob is releasing two new updates designed to make creating, preparing, and fulfilling manual Amazon FBA orders faster and more seamless:

Improvements to Manual FBA Order Creation (via the External Transfer Order Flow)

We’re updating the external transfer order (ETO) flow so manual FBA orders will be automatically classified as Amazon shipments. Once the order is packed, it will go โ€˜on holdโ€™ and weights and dimensions will be displayed on the merchant dashboard. When FBA box labels are uploaded, the order will go off โ€˜holdโ€™ and will enter packing, ensuring compliance with Amazonโ€™s packing guidelines and with the pack information displayed on the merchant dashboard.

Ability to Add ASIN Labels to the Product Catalog

Merchants will be able to upload ASIN labels directly to the Product Catalog to associate them at the product level. Once set, these labels will automatically attach to manual FBA orders for the associated product, streamlining order creation and eliminating the need for merchants to upload ASIN labels for each individual order.

Tag-based Order Ingestion with WooCommerce ๐ŸŒŽ

Beginning this fall, ShipBobโ€™s WooCommerce integration will support tag-based order ingestion, enabling merchants to automatically filter and route orders based on tags. This helps streamline workflows and improve fulfillment accuracy.
