When you are shipping within the UK, you have the option to partner with Evri. The UK-based shipping carrier has several options for you to consider.

In this section, we outline the range of Hermes/Evri UK delivery services available for ecommerce businesses.

Hermes standard shipping services

Hermes/Evri standard shipping services are one of the most affordable options for shipping within the UK, with prices starting at just £2.60.

Based on the weight of the parcel, the price of the service varies.

The parcels are delivered to the destination within 2 to 3 days from drop off or collection and come with a free cover of up to £20.

Hermes ParcelShops

Hermes/Evri’s logistics network of 7000 ParcelShops (in the UK) gives you the option to drop-off shipments.

These shops are conveniently open for longer than post offices (every day of the week until 10 p.m.).

If you need to print a label before drop-off, you can do that (sometimes for free) at the Hermes ParcelShops. It also offers a convenient location to collect shipments.

Hermes lockers

Send, collect, track, and return parcels at any of the 1500 Hermes Lockers conveniently located across the UK, any time of the day or night.

This affordable option keeps your parcels safe as the lockers are fitted with security cameras. 

For different types of parcels, you will find lockers of different sizes, with the largest one being 66cm x 41cm x 38cm. Just book your locker service online and choose the locker location.

Then, to get the locker to open, just scan the barcode on your shipping label and the locker will automatically open.

Hermes courier collection

More expensive (but also more convenient) than Hermes’ ParcelShop or the Locker, is their Courier Collection service.

Hermes/Evri can pick up or drop off packages to or from any commercial or residential UK address. 

The courier collection can be booked online, 1 to 7 days ahead of the pick-up date. And, the parcels are picked up between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m..

International shipping with Hermes (Evri) UK

Here are your options for shipping from the UK.

Courier collection

It’s super easy to send your parcels overseas with Hermes/Evri UK. All you need to do is book online their courier collection service. Don’t forget to mention the parcel dimensions when securing the quote. 

Evri ships to 190 countries worldwide, within 3 to 7 business days. Parcels weighing up to 15 kg and of up to 115 cm in length can be shipped with complete tracking and free coverage of up to £20.

Note: When Hermes shipping to Denmark, Finland, or Sweden, Evri UK only allows for delivery to the nearest post office or local shop, not the recipient’s address.

Parcel dropoff

Drop off your orders at any of the 4,500 Hermes ParcelShops across the UK, for delivery in 3 and 7 business days.

This is not only a more convenient form of international logistics but also a much more affordable option.

Don’t forget to add an address label on the outside and inside of your parcel before dropping it off.

Hermes/Evri business accounts

If you want great service at a low price, then Hermes/Evri UK is a great option to choose for your business’s shipping needs. The advantages of a Hermes business account, include:

The minimum requirement to set up this business account is an outflow of 300+ parcels a week that adhere to the Evri size restrictions and restricted product guidelines.

Your account must also pass a credit check.

Hermes/Evri pickup shop

You can drop off your parcel at the Hermes/Evri UK pickup shop and book standard and next-day delivery.

There is also the option to give the ParcelShop address for delivery of orders to keep packages in in a safe place until you are ready to collect them.

Your customers can also return orders by dropping the parcels off at their nearest ParcelShop.

Evri Parcel App & track and trace

Evri’s mobile parcel app can be used to track shipments all day and every day, including those that ShipBob has helped fulfil.

Available for download on Apple Store or Google Play, it can be used to: 

  1. Send, return, track, divert, and pay for parcels.
  2. Share courier delivery instructions. 
  3. Secure and store QR codes for printing labels at ParcelShops.
