VOLUNTEERING

ShipBob Gives

In partnership with our Employee Resource Groups and the Culture Committee, we organise and participate in events and fundraisers that help raise awareness around important causes we care about. We also partner with non-profit organisations like giveNkind that donates unsellable inventory to those in need.  Some of our recent initiatives in 2022 include:

• SuperBowl Squares fundraiser benefiting Moonshot Dreamers.
• March Madness fundraiser for flood relief in Australia and for the United Ukrainian American Relief Committee.
• Mile a Thon for Mental Health Awareness Month, with donations going to the National Alliance on Mental Illness and Mental Health America.
• Partnering with Out@ShipBob Employee Resource Group to organise a t-shirt sale with proceeds benefiting The Trevor Project and Translifeline.
• Back To School Book Drive, donating 500 books to Open Books, which benefits those who are not able to build a home library of their own.
• T-shirt fundraiser for the Movember Foundation.

The ShipBob Community Outreach Giving Fund is a combined effort by Culture Committee and Gives where we use company allocated funds to make a difference in the community. Any employee can submit a request for the charity of their choice! In 2022, we placed USD $11,750 in donations to 21 causes nominated by ShipBob employees.
