Startup fulfillment services provide effective ecommerce fulfillment and inventory management, including the storing, picking, packing, and shipping of items sold online.
Unlike established businesses, young and growing merchants typically require third-party fulfillment logistics providers that are flexible and can scale with them. Startups that ramp up production quickly need a fulfillment center that will both cater to their needs in the beginning and also expand with them as they grow.
ShipBob works with merchants of all sizes that enjoy their transparent, cost-effective order fulfillment services. ShipBob only charges for three things: when products are sent to their warehouses, the amount of time products are stored, and each time they are shipped out to customers.
Everything else ShipBob offers – from software to packing supplies – are free of charge. It’s time to stop paying for hidden pack fees, setup fees, and unloading fees.
ShipBob believes that startup fulfillment services should be accessible and available to online merchants of every size. They’ve built their business model to help small and growing companies compete with national retailers by simplifying ecommerce shipping.

“Our experience with ShipBob has been outstanding thus far. I went through ShipBob’s self-service Growth Plan program for startups, which made it easy to outsource fulfillment from the start.
I remember being a little frustrated at first when I didn’t have anyone to talk to, but I followed the steps outlined and everything was automated, from setting up my store, to sending product, to fulfilling orders. Plus, I could always reach out to ShipBob’s support team for help.”

Why startups choose ShipBob over other 3PLs
ShipBob’s Growth Plan caters to startups of all sizes, and we support them through their growth journey. ShipBob offers the fulfillment infrastructure, technology, and best-in-class support you need to get your business up and running and worry less about fulfillment and logistics. Here is what some of our customers have to say.
Pot D’Huile: CBD-infused oils and hot sauces
Pot d’Huile sells CBD-infused olive oil, hot sauce, and chili oil to world-renowned chefs and home cooks. As they grew, they knew their self-fulfillment process wasn’t sustainable. After doing research on several 3PLs, they chose ShipBob because of its user-friendly technology. With ShipBob, Pot d’Huile is able to worry less about time-consuming logistics tasks while having full visibility to the orders coming in.
“ShipBob’s platform is easy to use and navigate, the interface is intuitive, and the analytics are very clearly laid out. I give ShipBob’s technology a 9/10. Getting our WooCommerce shop integrated with ShipBob was easy, and it’s been fantastic to have; we had no problem with it.”
Yannick Crespo, Co-Founder & President of Pot d’Huile
SubSubmarine: An independent music label
SubSubmarine is an Australian-based independent music label with an online store that sells cassettes, vinyl, and merchandise. SubSubmarine partnered with ShipBob to simplify cross-border shipping and to offer competitive shipping rates for US-based orders.
After contacting a few 3PLs, they learned that many 3PLs are not conducive to startups, as they have minimums just to have an account, with fee after fee (“$50 for this, $50 for that”). Once it all adds up, it comes out to be $250 a month just for running costs (excluding storage, shipping, and more). However, ShipBob was the only 3PL that had a startup program that allows them to outsource fulfillment without worrying about monthly order minimums.
“I found ShipBob’s self-onboarding Growth Plan program to be straightforward and the user interface is really easy. The instructions on how to get started with ShipBob are step-by-step. Whenever I got stuck, I just emailed ShipBob’s support team, and they came back with screenshots or fixed the issue for me.”
