Before launching ShipBob, co-founders, Dhruv Saxena and Divey Gulati, launched their first startup together. Part of their service involved packaging and mailing orders when customers placed them. As demand increased, they struggled to efficiently ship out their product. Dhruv and Divey thought there had to be a better way. Thus, ShipBob was born.
Fast forward a few years to 2017, the company provides powerful software, has several strategically located fulfillment centers across the U.S., and received $17.5 million in Series B funding, led by Bain Capital Ventures.
It’s safe to say that ShipBob is on the fast track to successfully automate fulfillment for ecommerce businesses.
Merchants that haven’t invested millions of dollars into their supply chain or built their own logistics network turn to ShipBob to offer the ‘Amazon experience’ to their customers and optimize their supply chain.
