From warehouse receiving<\/a> to automated shipping<\/a>, here\u2019s an overview of how ShipBob operates:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once you fill out a Warehouse Receiving Order<\/a> (WRO), you can ship your inventory to one or more of our fulfilment centres to be stored. Each SKU<\/a> has a separate dedicated storage location, either on a shelf, in a bin, or on a pallet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From ShipBob\u2019s dashboard, you have the option to assign a lot number to specific items stored in our fulfilment centre<\/a>. After we receive your warehouse receiving orde<\/a>r<\/a> (WRO), we will store the items in separate locations, according to their lot number. As soon as an order is placed on your online store, ShipBob automatically receives the order and it is assigned to a warehouse picking<\/a> team or a picker. Our picking team receives a picking list<\/a> of the items, quantities, and storage locations at the facility to collect the ordered products from their respective locations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For packing, we offer standard packing materials \u2014 brown boxes, poly mailers<\/a>, packing tape, and dunnage<\/a> \u2014 at no extra cost. For a more custom solution, we also allow the use of custom packaging.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ShipBob also offers subscription<\/a> or recurring order capabilities, so you can offer a reliable subscription service for your customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
