Here\u2019s a breakdown of how each day\u2019s sales compared to the average on the same days in October of this year (just the month before): <\/p>\n\n\n\n BFCM is a fantastic revenue driver for most brands, but certain product categories soared this year. Some of the most successful ecommerce brands included: <\/p>\n\n\n\n Most brands benefit from the BFCM rush, but the weekend was an even bigger blockbuster for certain industries and product categories. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The categories with the highest order volumes overall during BFCM 2025 were: <\/p>\n\n\n\n 1. Beauty <\/p>\n\n\n\n 2. Health & Wellness <\/p>\n\n\n\n 3. Apparel <\/p>\n\n\n\n 4. Home & Garden <\/p>\n\n\n\n 5. Food & Beverage <\/p>\n\n\n\n Similarly, the categories with the biggest increases in order volume during BFCM (compared to the average day in October 2025) were: <\/p>\n\n\n\n 1. Apparel <\/p>\n\n\n\n 2. Sports <\/p>\n\n\n\n 3. Toys & Games <\/p>\n\n\n\n 4. Home\u00a0and Garden<\/p>\n\n\n\n 5. Beauty<\/p>\n\n\n While BFCM spikes order volumes across the country, some states are bigger shoppers than others. <\/p>\n\n\n\n In the US, the states with the highest order volumes during BFCM 2025 were: <\/p>\n\n\n\n 1. California <\/p>\n\n\n\n 2. Texas <\/p>\n\n\n\n 3. Florida <\/p>\n\n\n\n 4. New York <\/p>\n\n\n\n 5. Pennsylvania <\/p>\n\n\n\n Some states didn\u2019t have the highest order volume overall, but still saw enormous increases in order volume compared to October 2025. <\/p>\n\n\n\n In the US, the states with the highest increases in order volume during BFCM 2025 (compared to the average day in October 2025) were: <\/p>\n\n\n\n 1. Utah (+280%) <\/p>\n\n\n\n 2. Minnesota (+276%) <\/p>\n\n\n\n 3. Iowa (+252%) <\/p>\n\n\n\n 4. Wisconsin (+247%) <\/p>\n\n\n\n 5. Massachusetts (+244%) <\/p>\n\n\n\n The states with the smallest increases in order volume during BFCM 2025 (compared to the average day in October 2025) were: <\/p>\n\n\n\n Ecommerce is a truly global marketplace, and the surge in excitement and sales around BFCM isn\u2019t limited to the US. Shoppers and brands worldwide now join in the momentum, turning the weekend into an international retail event. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The countries with the largest increases in order volume during BFCM 2025 (compared to the average day in October 2025) were: <\/p>\n\n\n\n Ecommerce brands went to great lengths to deliver BFCM orders this year \u2013 literally. While the shortest distance<\/strong> an order travelled across ShipBob\u2019s network was just 1.5 miles<\/strong> within the city of Brampton, CA, USA, some orders travelled up to 11,769 miles<\/strong> from ShipBob\u2019s Birmingham, UK fulfilment centre all the way to Christchurch, NZ. <\/p>\n\n\n This year, we pulled back the curtain on Black Friday performance. For the first time, ShipBob put together a real-time BFCM data dashboard<\/a>, where merchants, brands, and shoppers can view 2025\u2019s Black Friday-Cyber Monday weekend shopping trends unfold. <\/p>\n\n\n\n As ecommerce orders poured in, merchants could view live data aggregated from thousands of ecommerce brands reporting trends in volume, top-performing categories, and US states with the highest activity. <\/p>\n\n\n\nShipBob\u2019s BFCM 2025: The Highlights <\/h2>\n\n\n\n
